SX8AM
Series:
The
SX8AM thermal overload protector combines the protection
of the automatic reset protector with a self-holding feature.
Designed to prevent over-heating in larger motors, the self-hold
action SX8AM, once activated in a fault condition, maintains
its open state until power is removed. No reset button allows
for locating the device at the heat source. Simply remove
power to reset. A reliable, cost effective alternative to
off-winding bimetal protectors.

Series:
Designed
specifically for larger motors with a fast rate of temperature
rise (25–35°C/sec), the Automatic Reset 8AM thermal
overload protector provides economical protection for a
wide range of motors and transformers. The 8AM design provides
protection against various fault conditions (up to 60 Amps
@ 115V), such as: locked rotor, running overload, low voltage,
run both windings.
